Our field shelters are manufactured to the same high standard as our
stables, using high quality materials and attention to detail at all

Standard specification on a Watkins Field shelter as follows:
- Height
Pent roof is 7' to eaves height. Apex roof is 7'6” to eaves height. - Cladding
High quality, pressure treated shiplap T&G boards 14mm x 125mm planed. - Framing
3” (75mm) x 2” (50mm) planed timber framing, spaced at approximately 24” (609mm) intervals. - Roof joists
4”(100mm) x 2”(50mm) planed timber joists spaced at approximately 24”(609mm) intervals. -
Roof Cladding
Black Onduline corrugated roof sheets are used as standard. -
Kickboards
½” (12mm) exterior grade ply which is fitted to 4’ (1220mm) height. - Treatment
All timber is pressure treated.
Optional Extras
- 18mm Kickboards.
- 4” black guttering.
